Lodging: NOT provided. Players are responsible for their own lodging, if necessary. The towns of Dobson and Elkin, each about a 20 minute drive from Roaring Gap, have hotels available. All common booking sites also have options. Lodging at Olde Beau Resort requires a minimum 2-night stay. About the course: Olde Beau sits on the eastern edge of the Blue Ridge mountains, approximately 3200 feet elevation. Playing at a max yardage (tips) of 6565 yards, it is both a challenge and scoreable at the same time. Featuring rolling fairways with plenty of elevation changes and a few blind shots, leading into bentgrass greens, Olde Beau requires precision rather than length. The Roaring Gap area is known as the “Pinehurst of the Hills”.
